Starting December 2, 1946 as a fresh out of the army veteran, the staff at River Falls turned me from an “I can always quit student” into a “dedicated learner” by the time I graduated in May 1950. I went to work at the Appleton Vocational School on June 1, 1950. I had a very satisfying and enjoyable career thanks to the guidance of another River Falls Graduate, Lenard Warner. Len was a pace setter in Adult Ag Education in Wisconsin.
