These comments were shared by Arnold Johnson (Class of 1952) during a visit with a few faculty and staff last year:

Lots of good memories…

Catherine Lineman was known as Monocot Cate.

Art Johnson was Cow “bleep” Art because of the many times he came to class, put his feet up on the desk and had cow manure on his shoes. [Learn more about Art:  http://www.uwrf.edu/AboutUs/JohnsonHall.cfm]

Rudolph Karges – what  a wonderful man. One time he was making a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher in class as a demonstration and it blew up all over his face and clothes. He calmly took an old rag, wiped his brow and said, “It never worked like that before.” [Learn more about Rudolph: http://www.uwrf.edu/AboutUs/RAKargesCenter.cfm]
